Latin America Overview

Encompassing Central America, a handful of Caribbean Islands and South America, Latin America is a place of stark contrasts. Culturally rich with it's melting pot of peoples from indigenous South Americans, Africans, Europeans and Asians, all with their unique languages, customs and religions. Geographically diverse and blessed with enormous natural beauty from the cruel peaks of the Andes mountain range and the lush fug of the tropical rainforests, to its famous sandy beaches and the ice flows of its southern tip. Economically varied, being home to both the fabulously rich and dirt-poor street kids and exuding an energy and zest for life that is uniquely of itself, Latin America is a fascinating, baffling, challenging and incredibly rewarding place to visit. Let us give you a quick overview of its member countries.
